Don't be fooled by web sites that claim to offer a free estimate for the value of your home. Such sites often use incorrect or outdated data to calculate their estimates of Houston TX Homes, and their results can range from marginally believable to outrageous fiction.

Only those real estate brokers and agents and appraisers who are licensed in the state of Texas and are local MLS members - have access to local MLS "sold data". As a Houston Association of Realtors MLS participant, I have access to accurate "Sold Data" from HAR MLS, and I know the exact sales figures on greater Houston area homes.
